Zine Newsletters

Social media is annoying, but we still want to connect with our friends and that’s where newsletters come in!  Print media rules!  We’ll work with an easily reproducible one page format, to make bold black and white newsletters to share with our friends.  Tell the world whatever’s on your mind: your latest TV obsession, your favorite form of activism, descriptions of chachkis you have been collecting, favorite foods you cook all season, the options are endless.  At the end of the workshop we’ll trade newsletters and everyone will take some extra copies of their newsletters home!

Sensory Note: for anyone experiencing audio or visual sensitivity, please note that the IPRC is situated under a skatepark, which creates occasional disruptive background noise, and the lighting in the studio and classroom space is primarily fluorescent. We do have ear plugs available for members.
